Made of Corten steel, which is nearly pure carbon steel specially processed to develop a protective surface layer, making it weather-resistant. Its original colour is greyish, but exposure to weather causes it to turn reddish-brown—similar to rust—which darkens over time.

Designed by Petteri Wiimaa, the GrillSymbol Luna Fire Pit is a modern outdoor fireplace that combines contemporary style with timeless elegance. Named after the full moon, Luna stands as one of the largest fire pits in the GrillSymbol collection, making a bold statement in any outdoor setting. Whether placed in a private garden or a public space such as a restaurant terrace or golf course, it provides warmth, ambiance, and a striking visual focal point.
More than just a fire pit, Luna is crafted to create memorable moments. It invites you to gather with friends or relax with family, encouraging slow enjoyment of the vibrant flames and fostering a connection with nature. As a centrepiece for living in the moment, it seamlessly blends comfort, beauty, and shared experiences.
Constructed entirely from 3 mm Corten steel, Luna develops a natural rust-coloured patina over time, ensuring durability with minimal maintenance. Its two-part design features a wide outer panel and an internal fire chamber, separated by a gap to keep the outer shell cool during use. A 5 cm layer of decorative stones sits between the panels, enhancing safety and aesthetic appeal.
With a diameter of 119 cm and a height of 47 cm, Luna is supported by three sturdy legs for stability. It includes a removable ash basket for easy cleaning, and the inner fire basket measures 60 x 60 x 12 cm. Drainage holes at the base prevent water accumulation. The fire pit is shipped on a pallet and comes with stones included. A matching lid is available separately as an accessory.
Specifications -
The product must not be installed on a wooden surface as the fire pit will become hot from the bottom during the fire. There are holes in the bottom of the fire pit from which small pieces of coal can fall out. The holes in the bottom act as drainage holes to prevent standing water from accumulating inside the fire pit.
NB! Grill set on the pictures is not included. It is available as accessory.
NB! Cor-Ten steel products are delivered untreated. When brand new, COR-TEN® steel is grey in colour like usual hot-rolled steel. You can find seasoning instructions on our website or you can scan directly from the product. Cor-Ten steel products can be stored outdoors all year round. Does not require storage.

Once confirmed we will process the payment and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay such as an item which is on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.
Order Delivery: Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card and your order will be dispatched within 5 working days. We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. Damages: We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to hello@thegardenflame.co.uk so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds: Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.
